I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was exceptionally attentive, making the experience feel special, especially with thoughtful touches for my friend's birthday. The room offered breathtaking views and was spotlessly clean. However, I encountered a disappointing situation with a staff member during my dinner experience that left a sour note. Overall, the hotel offers a great atmosphere and location for a relaxing getaway, but some aspects of the service could use improvement.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, enjoying its beautiful surroundings and spacious rooms. However, some aspects could be improved, especially the dining experience during breakfast which felt quite lacking for a five-star establishment. Overall, it’s a memorable place but there are areas that need attention to truly match its luxury status.

Rooms
8.0
Our room was spacious and offered a wonderful view, but it was located above an area where a wedding was happening, which was a bit noisy. The bathroom was luxurious, but I found it inconvenient that there was no dedicated mirror close to the plug socket.
Service
6.0
Service was lacking at times, especially during breakfast where it felt like staff were too few and inattentive. However, they did upgrade our room to a nicer one, which I appreciated.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is stunning with beautiful gardens and close proximity to various attractions. It's definitely a great spot to explore.
Dining
5.0
While some meals were delicious, the breakfast felt more like what you'd expect from a lower tier hotel, with it being mostly buffet-style and lacking personal service.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel's facilities were impressive, especially the spa and gym, but the pool area felt crowded during peak times.

The hotel has stunning views and fantastic grounds, making it a great place to unwind. While the setting is beautiful and the activities available are enjoyable, the service does not match the high expectations of a five-star venue. There were noticeable delays in service, especially during dining, which affected overall experience. Overall, it’s a nice spot to relax, but the service needs significant improvement.

The service was inconsistent, with significant delays in attention from staff during meals. Despite the beautiful setting, the dining experience was affected by slow service.
Location
10.0
The location is fabulous, situated within the Powerscourt Estate, offering plenty of cultural and historical highlights close by. There are beautiful walking trails available, which enhance the stay.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was less than ideal, as the service was quite slow and the food quality did not meet the high standards typically expected from a five-star establishment.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel boasts excellent leisure facilities, including a beautiful pool. However, during peak times, it felt overcrowded, which diminished the experience.

We were really excited for our stay at this hotel, intrigued by its beautiful location and spacious grounds. The rooms were comfortable, but our experience was marred by inconsistent service and a disappointing dining experience. While the facilities were satisfactory, the overall service fell short of a true 5-star experience. It's a lovely place but with some areas needing significant improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and comfortable with a pleasant view of trees and a grass bank, but I had issues with the delayed arrival of my bags, which took over an hour after check-in.
Service
5.0
The service was slow and lacked the attention to detail one would expect from a 5-star resort. I had to make multiple calls to get assistance with my bags, which was frustrating.
Location
9.0
The grounds are beautiful, nestled in the mountains with fantastic views, making it a serene place for a getaway, though navigating the hotel can be tricky due to the lack of signage.
Dining
5.0
The dining options fell short, especially breakfast, which felt lackluster with limited offerings and slow service; I was left feeling disappointed compared to other eateries I've experienced.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, with a clean pool area, but nothing extraordinary stood out during my stay.

However, I was a bit let down by the breakfast compared to previous visits. Overall, it's great value for a relaxing getaway just outside Dublin.
